agilerate

At a glance

agilerate - the burning glass on your agility

Introducing agile methods is the beginning. Only if the methods fit your values, strategies, processes and the existing technology will you fill them with life in the long term. In some configurations, agility leaves no room for manoeuvre. To be agile, there are clear requirements. In many cases, you have plenty of scope to harmonise agile and traditional working methods. agilerate helps you to define the right mix for your organisation.

agilerate - is agile itself

In five modules you will experience - in a playful way - the difference between inhibiting and beneficial design settings in agile everyday life. When looking for the right approaches, you question:

  • agile methods - which of them suit us well, how and why?
  • Structure/processes - what/which of them support our agility?
  • Culture - what constitutes an agile culture and how can we implement it?
  • Strategy - how does our strategy support agile transformation?

The fifth module is aimed directly at sustainability: After a few months of modules 1-4, we will start the retrospective of the previous path together. You bring in your experience and we bring in our impulses from practice and science.

Very important: agilerate is

  • no method training
  • no blueprint for your organization

What is agilerate?

agilerate is a mountain climb: All agilerate modules are stages on the way to the summit. In the first week we start together with modules 1 "Method", 2 "Structure/Processes" and 3 "Culture". So that you have enough time for your own observations in everyday work, we will only start stage 4, the "Strategy" module, a week later and thus climb the first summit.

This is where our common ascent ends. Now you design and walk the path to your next summit, your agile organisation, independently:

Then we meet for the 5th stage, the "retrospective" of your path so far. Experience has shown that it takes some time for you to clearly recognise successes and challenges. We therefore recommend starting the 5th module after approx. 3-6 months.

Some companies want external experts on board, especially in the implementation phase.

You want:

  • continue to receive impulses from outside
  • have someone at your side who accompanies the change process
  • sparring partner for project management, agility, organisational development etc.

… of course we also offer all this.

Procedure

How does agilerate work?

A first group of your (organisational) unit goes through the modules/stages 1 to 4. In doing so, they adapt the strategy for the way to an agile organisation. Afterwards, other employees, maybe even all of them, take part in modules/stages 1 to 3 (method, structure/processes, culture). This procedure is particularly helpful for the organisation-wide uniform understanding of the common goal.

We offer agilerate in German and English.

Target group

Who benefits from agilerate?

  • Companies and teams that are just discovering agility for themselves
  • Companies and teams that already have experience with agile working and want to anchor agility in the long term

Who does it take?

Management, decision-makers, strategy developers and managers as well as employees.
